Volunteers

Volunteering for CORENA is ideal for anyone who wants to make a tangible contribution to tackling  the climate emergency. Maybe you have expertise which would help us do better, or maybe you want to learn specialised skills and gain experience. Either way we’d love to hear from you.

Our main areas of work are:

– Developing projects for CORENA to fund
– Communicating
– Promoting, recruiting, and building relationships
– Improving CORENA systems behind the scenes

Below are two roles suitable for anyone anywhere, followed by a list of more specialised tasks.

Project champions

Busy community organisations often need a friendly face-to-face conversation about the benefits of CORENA projects in order to take the time to consider our project offer.

We rely on volunteer Project Champions to explain what we do and encourage local community organisations to apply for our projects.

See our one-pager and the detailed information on our project applications page. We’ll send you all the information you will need, and be here to answer your questions.

Social media supporters

CORENA is always looking to reach more people through social media. If informal helping suits you, our spread the word page suggests some ways you can help whenever and however suits you.
