Solar installed of Enova roof

Project 16: Enova Community generator, NSW

In collaboration with CORENA, the Enova Community non-profit arm of Enova installed 18kW of solar PV on their roof. All the solar output is exported to the grid and bought by the Enova retailer to sell to their customers. This is owned by Enova Community rather than CORENA, but is a first-of-kind project that would not have been possible without the interest-free loan from the Big Win funds. Our loan will be fully repaid in five years, and as repayments come in that money will be used again for other projects.

* The MWh figure is the amount of grid electricity avoided by solar electricity generation and energy efficiency measures. The resultant reductions in carbon emissions can be visualised as an equivalent number of average households switching from grid electricity to 100% renewable electricity, noting that the subsequent projects have been avoiding grid electricity for less time than the original project.

This project has been fully funded- Thank you!

Progress bar showing fully funded via $19,613 in loan repayments

Honour roll

No honour roll for this project because it was entirely funded by repayments to the Big Win funding stream after Big Win funds were used for temporary loans to Quick Win projects. When those loans were repaid into the Big Win funding stream those donations were used for a second time for the Enova Community generator.

Status: Funded project – loan repayment in progress
Loan amount: $19,631
Loan repayments: $490.33/quarter for 5 years, with remainder payable at end of those 5 years
