An incredible $1,001,860.43 has been donated by ordinary yet extraordinary Australians to
provide interest-free loans that fund climate action projects for non-profit community
organisations. These projects enable organisations to cut their carbon emissions and reduce long-term operating costs.
What makes this milestone even more remarkable is Corena’s unique revolving fund model. That $1 million in donations has financed over $2,003,268.40 in total project loans. As loans are repaid into Corena’s fund, at least 80% of repayments are recycled to finance further climate action projects, meaning the impact of every donation grows over time.
