Attention Adelaide people ! Here is a great opportunity to support CORENA. The Capri Theatre recently switched on a 71.8 kW solar system and 51.2 kWh battery with the assistance of a $155,303 interest free loan from CORENA. This is CORENA’s biggest loan to date and to celebrate we are going to the movies! Buy a ticket to our movie fundraiser and the proceeds will go to our operations fund to help CORENA source and support new community renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.
The Capri Theatre is an independent, not-for-profit cinema run by a network of generous volunteers. Built in 1941, it is heritage listed and houses the Theatre Organ Society’s unique world class theatre pipe organ which will be played just before the movie. It’s well worth a visit. See if you can spot their new solar panels as you walk in. Some of our committee members will be there beforehand with information about CORENA so make sure you say hi.
