We’re delighted to welcome Joshna Joseph as a volunteer with Corena! Joshna recently completed her Master of Public Policy at Monash University and brings a rich background in international development and community engagement from her work with Caritas India and B Lab Australia & New Zealand.
At Caritas India, Joshna coordinated evaluations of a five-year national development strategy, led community profiling across four Indian states, and screened over 150 applications to support recruitment and onboarding — experience she’s keen to bring to Corena’s work. She’s also contributed to community fundraising drives, helping distribute around 500 food kits and 250 blankets to vulnerable community members, and has a strong analytics background from her time at Clarivate.
Joshna shared that, having worked in both the public sector and non-profit organisations, she sees greater growth and greater impact on communities when working in NGOs or organisations that want to make a difference. She is more passionate about the environment and sustainability, which is why she’s drawn to Corena’s focus on community-led climate and renewable energy projects, and she’s excited to contribute wherever it’s most useful, whether that’s volunteering, onboarding, fundraising, events, field storytelling, or impact data.
